We have all been there, we are admiring someone from our circle of friends or from afar and you secretly want them to ask you out…sometimes you even want them to just say “hello.”
Expectation vs Reality check.
You expect him or her to give you the attention that you give him but the reality is he like many other guys/girls just like the attention, and doesnt really feel the same for the other person.
Well everyone, this is a wake up call for you…
Have it occurred to you that –
He’s/She’s not that into you. Yes. It hurts, its painful, but its reality. Ive been in this so called trap of the enemy before, where young people nowadays in our society are awakening their feelings of love before they are even ready to be in a relationship.
Always remember, you are worth more than you can ever imagine. You are wonderfully and fearfully made (Psalm139) There’s time for everything. In Ecclesiaistes 3:11, it says He [God] has made everything beautiful in its time. I believe that is true with character and relationships as well.Be in a relationship, when you are emotionally, mentally, physically, financially and spiritually able and are ready to commit and be faithful to your partner. If you thing you lack one of these, then its not yet time to be in a relationship.
Three things to remember:
1.Focus on cultivating and growing spiritually with your relationship with God. How is your quiet time with God?
2.Focus on your relationship with your family and friends.
3.Focus on your studies first, its not worth it to neglect your studies and fail in your classes just because of your crush.
Define your priorities.
What is your motive of the heart? Why do you want to be in a relationship?
I recommend you try Jesus first because He gave his life for you because He loves you.
